Pursuit for Perfection

In the pursuit for perfection, we are often consumed by what we create. We slip from the reality to an ethereal sublime state that transcends the depths of our own consciousness. A state where what we are, is more important than who we are. This dream like state bridles the real you. Though satisfying our physical and mental facets, yet relinquishing a Zen’th dimension.

The world we create is more gratifying than the world we are in. We relate our being to our belongings. We define man not on the fabric of his spirit but on the anthology of his creations. This fosters a need to create further, an external projection, a symbolism of evanescent thoughts rather than the truth.

The process of creation is ingrained in time. The process of perfection is diluted in Maya. Don’t dwell in Maya; realize that perfection is as illusive as the frame of reference. We strive for perfection in all our creations and are ultimately disillusioned. We do not realize that true creation is infinite, divine! Learn to discern the real from the unreal, the truth from the untruth, and creation from manifestation.

The cornerstone of our creative prowess is not a statue or a stupa, but the understanding of how to live our lives. Realize that the only perfection is a divine consciousness, Soham. The roads are many, yet one. Walk the paths of imperfection, return to simplicity, revel in the eternal love and remembering that in the pursuit for perfection, don’t stop living…

Om
Asatho Maa Sad Gamaya
Thamaso Maa Jyothir Gamaya
Mrithyor Maa Amritham Gamaya
Om Shanti Shanti Shanti

Om
Lead me from untruth to truth
Lead me from darkness to light
Lead me from death to immortality
Om Peace, Peace, Peace

you've quite interestingly put the subject! I had to read it twice to get to the bottom.
the perception of perfection is beyond intellect, beyond our senses. It is realized when one stops trying to perceive, you don't need to percieve truth, you are truth when the untruth is understood, when maya is understood. The act of understanding is itself unbridling from will-o'-the-wisp. the perfect creativity is beyond the logic grasps, beyond our convictions. the pursuit of perfection, if you call it an enlightenment, IS living the presence. If one discerns of not living, it is when one is not liberated yet, there is still more unravelling to do. When one is effortless, you are truth, more you try, more you lose!

Everything written here is true.

"Learn to discern the real from the unreal, the truth from the untruth, and creation from manifestation."

I'll try...
